Foundation CURE

We invite you to join us in the action entitled «March for your rights,» whereby we would like to draw attention to discrimination of women in all spheres of life in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, our intention is to show that the 8th of March is in fact a day when women started their everlasting struggle for equality in political and other decision making processes, employment and especially education. We want to deconstruct stereotypes and settled patriarchal practices of buying gifts and flowers, as well as celebrating the 8th of March as the only day in the entire year when women should feel special.
In this regard, we, the activists and feminists are organizing a march which will commence with gathering at the Square of BiH at 11.00 am and continue with a route accross the Maršal Tito street, Ferhadija street up to city's Cathedral, were we shall organize an info stand with promo materials, and activists citizens can talk with.

As our goal is to point out all forms of women human rights violations, especially in the domain of political representation and actual participation of women in the decision making bodies, your support in preparing the action, participation at the march and other activities we organize is more then desired and welcome.
