Through forms of active participation of the youth, as direct involvement in organizing and managing the project, open participation in different workshops and debates, and cooperation and exchange among young people from different regions in Macedonia, Art Generator-Urban Arts Platform promotes the youth in Stip as capable for taking personal responsibility for the cultural life in their own city and capable to solve problems that concerns them.

The programme integrates the cultural products of young professional and amateur artists in Macedonia in the field of film, theater and music. They represent positive examples of youth involvement in the cultural life in Macedonia and with their content, technique and way of thinking can stimulate the cultural production among young people in the eastern part of Macedonia.

Objectives:

-To encourage and strengthen the youth in Stip for active involvement in cultural development of their community through visible and organized actions;

-To provide opportunity for the young people in Stip to express their creative potential in actions that will contribute to more dynamic cultural life in their town;

-To promote and to affirm the cultural production of the young artists in Macedonia;

-To improve and strengthen the cultural dialogue and cooperation among young people from different regions of Macedonia through creation of Youth Platform for initiation and development of similar future actions;

-To raise public awareness of the importance of young people’s role in development of the civil society and the importance of culture as a factor for socio-economic development, in general.
